Support for Windows 7

All of our current software applications will run on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7. This includes BreezeBrowser Pro, Downloader Pro, , DSLR Remote Pro for Windows, DSLR Remote Pro Multi-Camera, NKRemote, PSRemote andPSRemote Multi-Camera. Please see the notes below for more information about running each app on Windows 7:

BreezeBrowser Pro v1.9.4.1 - No known problems

Downloader Pro v2.2.4 - No known problems

DSLR Remote Pro for Windows v1.8 - No known problems. Cameras which can be controlled from a PC running Windows Vista also work on Windows 7. Please see the DSLR Remote Pro features page for a list of cameras supported on 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7.

DSLR Remote Pro Multi-Camera v1.3 - DSLR Remote Pro Multi-Camera v1.3 can be installed on Windows 7 and control up to 16 cameras.

NKRemote v1.3 - No known problems. Please note that to run NKRemote on Windows 7 it is necessary to set Vista compatibility mode for NKRemote (NKRemote will do this automatically the first time it is run)

PSRemote v1.8 - Cameras which can be controlled from a PC running Windows Vista also work on Windows 7 (list of supported PowerShot models). When you run the software Windows' User Account Control will ask "Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?". Please click on the "Yes" button when this is displayed and the program will run normally. The PSRemoteLibTest.exe command line utility can be used on Windows 7 but this must be set to Windows XP Service Pack 2 compatibility mode. To set "Windows XP Service Pack 2 " compatibility mode right click on the PSRemoteLibTest.exe program in Windows Explorer, select "Properties" and then click on the "Compatibility" tab.

PSRemote Multi-Camera v1.1 - In order to install PSRemote Multi-Camera v1.1 on Windows 7 it is necessary to download and save the setup program and then set it to "Windows XP Service Pack 3" compatibility mode before running the setup program to install the software. To set "Windows XP Service Pack 3" compatibility mode right click on the setup program in Windows Explorer, select "Properties" and then click on the "Compatibility" tab.
