Introduction

BreezeBrowser is aimed at viewing and sorting images from digital cameras quickly and efficiently. It handles all the main image formats including JPEGs from all digital cameras and most raw file formats. A thumbnail browser and a powerful HTML page generator make BreezeBrowser the ideal tool for viewing, organizing, converting and archiving your digital images. With its simple, easy to understand interface and advanced features including IPTC editing, contact sheet printing and batch processing BreezeBrowser appeals to all digital photographers from amateurs to professionals.

Canon PowerShot S70 and G6 Raw Conversion

Please install the Canon ZoomBrowser EX v5 software that comes on the CD supplied with your camera in order to enable Canon PowerShot G6 and S70 raw conversion. The next time you run BreezeBrowser it will automatically update its raw conversion libraries to allow Canon PowerShot G6 and S70 raw files to be converted.

Supported Image Formats

BreezeBrowser can read the following image formats:

  1. JPEG images
  2. 8-bit and 16-bit compressed and uncompressed TIFF images
  3. 8-bit and 16-bit Portable Network Graphics (PNG) images
  4. 8-bit and 16-bit Photoshop PSD images
  5. 8-bit and 16-bit JPEG 2000 images (lossless and lossy compression)
  6. Windows BMP images
  7. GIF images
  8. Canon raw files from the following cameras: PowerShot G1, PowerShot G2, PowerShot G3, PowerShot G5, , PowerShot G6, PowerShot Pro90IS, PowerShot Pro1, PowerShot S30, PowerShot S40, PowerShot S45, PowerShot S50, PowerShot S60, PowerShot S70, EOS D30, EOS D60, EOS 10D, EOS 20D, EOS 300D/Digital Rebel/KISS, EOS-1D, EOS-1Ds, EOS-1D Mark II
  9. Fuji S1, S2, S3, S20, S7000 raw files (embedded JPEG only)
  10. Minolta raw files
  11. Olympus raw files
  12. Pentax raw files
  13. Sony DSC-F828 raw files (embedded JPEG only)
  14. Adobe Digital Negative (DNG) format

BreezeBrowser can output the following image formats:

  1. JPEG images
  2. 8-bit and 16-bit uncompressed TIFF images
  3. 8-bit and 16-bit Portable Network Graphics (PNG) images
  4. 8-bit and 16-bit JPEG 2000 images (lossless and lossy compression)

Note: 'Canon EOS Digital Rebel', 'Canon EOS 300D Digital' and 'Canon EOS Kiss Digital' all refer to the same camera (which has different names in different markets). This camera is referred to as the 300D throughout these help files and anything that applies to the 300D also applies to the Digital Rebel and Kiss Digital.
